Samuel Streetlife (albeit a Ricoh Ambassador) has addressed the Ricoh issues being discussed across various forums.

They start at the 48 minute point (the rest is his review of the camera)

I've not used mine a lot, but none of these issues affect me.
I wonder why he need IBIS when using a 1,000 SS?

That would agree with the point he made that for some issues there had been no reports of them to Ricoh Europe.

I didn't pick up on the IBIS comment, but I watched it when it was first posted, and can't remember much of it.

Let’s hope things change or are fixed for the monochrome version due out soon.

Look after 44 minutes in the video.
I remember it now.

Its just that the IBIS is on (he isn't switching it off and on as he changes shutter speed throughout the day) and has noticed this odd effect at higher shutter speeds.

An effect he didn't get with his GRIII, and presumably his GRII as he has never seen it before.

I've seen discussions about IBIS and blur at high shutter speeds before (not with Ricohs) but I thought this was a thing of the past. If it is linked to iBIS, hopefully, as he suggests, Ricoh will fix it with a firmware update.
