I bought this Ricoh Auto Shot as part of a deal with a clockwork Ansco Memo II half frame. I thought neither of them worked.

I've tried this Ricoh again and fires and "auto" winds on by clockwork. It has a working B function and it fires in full auto mode. The manual states 1/125 in full Auto mode - I think the exposure meter sets the aperture. The manual says it also works on manual at 1/30 and user can select f2.8, 5.6, 11 or 22.

It's a nice looking, if quirky, well made thing. Apparently it has a low light warning mark in the viewfinder but I can't get mine to show in any light or setting. Does this mean the meter (selenium?) is dead?

I suppose should put some film in it and see. Would it still work in manual mode albeit with a slow (1/30) shutter speed?
