things are too bad this side of London tbh. if you are driving in you should be safe and there's plenty of distancing in a huge park like this.

I was intending to go to Bushy Park, a place I have been too several times, however there were 100's of people there last time I visited :(

Yes I drive there- takes me three and a half hours from Taunton

Yes I believe it was a Sunday, got there and parked in the area just past the Princess Diana fountain at around 8am I think

Sundays can be particularly bad. Theres also organised, recurring sporting events that mean that car park is exceptionally busy weekend mornings. Its no use for photography but things do calm down around lunchtime. I have to admit I tend to stay out of the Royal Parks at weekends for that reason, although I'm lucky enough to have a temporary flat ( while works done to my house)that backs onto Bushy so it only takes me two minutes to walk to the gate

Last Sunday on of the month when clocks are flogged is good - if the weather is ok, as you'll have golden hour an hour earlier - but it does mean less sleep.

yeah that explain it. Sundays and even Saturdays especially if its sunny is really bad.

I live about 20-30 mins drive from Bushy park which is easier to get to than Richmond park for me but i have got better deer shots in Richamond park. so hard to choose.

Must be nice to have that sort of access, I have to drive almost 4 hours to get there- I plan to visit again soon and stay 2 nights at the Premier Inn Nr Kempton Park race course :)

Once again not too much of a drive for you :) I may visit Mid-week on my next visit - seems to be less busy

Les :)

Its great having that access - even when I move back to mine its only 10 minutes drive.

20 minute walk for me via East Sheen Common. Unfortunately October is the time of Wies'n meaning rising early on Sunday is near impossible. Must instil disciplince chip.
