Wales Rhayader

I'm at Gigrin farm in Rhayader, mid Wales tomorrow for the red kites and then heading back to Manchester afterwards. The forecast looks really good for tomorrow evening so I'd like to take in some landscape photography on the way home. I can do a bit of a diversion if necessary. Any ideas anyone?

too late now , but the Elan valley near Ryader offers some stunning landscapes - while the trip back to Manchester offers multiple different oportunities including going north through the cadair idris range
