RF-602 on flash stands

I have some RF-602 receivers that I bought from Flash in the Pan.

I tend to use them on lightstands and they works fine by removing the hotshoe adapter from the umbrella bracket and screwing the RF-602 unit straight into the umbrella bracket. The Nikon flash holds onto the 602 securely by using the lock on the flash.

If I want to use the RF-602 on the Nikon flash stand the flash locks onto the 602 but the 602 is very loose on the stand.

Can you get flash stands with a screw that will attach securely to the RF-602?

I also wondered if you could lock the flash on a stand and connect the RF-602 to the SB-900 using a cable?
