Was just messing about with a random image I found on the internet and trying to clean up and retouch the image, and so thought I would share as I was quite pleased with the result!

Here's before:



and here's after:



Any way it could be improved? I was more interested in cleaning up the skin and giving the image an overall tidy up rather than anything specific.
 
Not bad but they both have gone a little too red and you could clone out the hair that is falling over the young girl's right eye.

here is a quick edit 6 minutes is all
 
Oh nice job! That's a little better. I'm just trying to work on a few methods of cleaning up/smoothing skin.
 
I think the original is a better colour as the second has very stong green colour caste in it, which is easily evident in the hair, girls chest and the white door in the background, just my pesonel opinion.
 
I agree, tilers colour edit is far too green now.

But what concerns me most... Did you really just pluck this from some random place online? Surely you just broke copyright laws in doing so :shrug:
 
I thought the same myself but did not like to sayanything being new here.

If you really do not have a suitable image of your own to play with I'd be quite happy to post a larger image of the untouched version of of this to play with which is my own. :)

Having read that the OP found the images they manipulated on the net, Ive decided to remove the images for now.
Ill be happy to put them back if Ive misunderstood and they belong to the OP.

Perhaps take up the kind offer of Paul-S and show off your skills with his image. :)
 
It's a fair cop, they were found on the internets :) Paul, if you could stick up a large version of your image to practice on, that would be fab!

Sorry to have took so long to reply But i was taken down by the Noro Virus and have spent the last few days mimicking that well known scene from the Exorcist! :gag:
