Restoring 2011 Macbook to include OSX updates?

Hi All,

My Macbook Air is running out of disk space and I'm not sure what the hell is filling it up (40gb of 'other'?) but I reckon a reboot to factory would be good anyway.

However, it came installed with, err, Lion I think but I have bought all the OSX updates since so am up to date and I am wondering whether I can send it back to a fresh install with nothing on but the most recent Mavericks OS?

Is that possible?

Not to worry, I think I've got it sussed. I hope...

I just do Command + R and it should all just work and if not I can use my Apple ID to DL and install.
