As im now being to get more into printing images, ive came across trying to get images the right size for printing sizes, ive found out it not just a case of cropping to desired size, and hoping that prints come back ok,

Im trying to find software that will allow me to resize images for print, i use PS5, and have followed youtube vids, thou none that ive came across, give me a way to have images that fit the printers sizes.

Do you have access to Lightroom? That will upscale output, and can be configured in several ways, including number of pixels along one edge or a size (in inches or cm) at a given number of pixels per unit of measurement (usually either 300 or 240 pixels per inch for printing).

On One software's Perfect Suite 8 has a print output module (called perfect resize IIRC) that will resize output for printing including adding borders for canvas prints.

There is free software around that will also do this, though with a bit more input from the user. GIMP, DigiKam and Irfanview can upscale images to custom sizes, and I use Gimp to create borders on images exported from Lightroom when having canvas prints made.
