Resize 8x10 to A3??

Hi,

Been given a couple of 8x10 prints which I've offered to scan and have enlarged, question is what DPI should. Look at scanning them at?

600dpi then resize to 300dpi and adjust size to 420mm X 297mm however 8x10 is not the same aspect ratio as A3 so you'll end up with 420mm X 336mm @ ~360dpi which is almost perfect for an epson printer
