Residual hypo kits

Does anyone know where to buy test kits for residual hypo (to check that fixer has been properly washed from fibre paper) in the UK? The only ones I've managed to find are on eBay and direct from Photographer's Formulary and both are extortionate when the postage has been factored in.

Failing that, is it possible to mix a test solution from raw chemicals that are readily available?

Lack of space and money mean I can't get an archival washer right now, so I need to make sure my tray washing method is up to scratch, but also not over the top and using more water than necessary.

there's a formula for the Kodak HT2 Hypo Test solution about half way down the page here

Disclaimer: its not something I can verify or check myself, but could be a good starting point...

ETA: seems to be backed up by a Kodak PDF I've also found here

Thanks for those links Mark. I can buy enough silver nitrate from silverprint to make about 3.5l of solution for the same price as 100ml of test kit! Wondering if anyone on here would like a small bottle to share the cost?
