Reset

I have a 5D3 which when I first got it I personalised (?) I have set the front right hand button (DF button) to AI Servo but now wish to reset it to DF please how do I carry this out ?.

Hard Reset Canon DSLR

1. Put the Camera in Manual Mode and press the “Menu” button.
2. Use the Multi-controller or the Quick Control dial to scroll down to the Clear all Camera Settings option.
3. Click the Set button.
4. Scroll over to the OK button and click Set button again.

Thanks, but will this clear all my other personalised settings as well when all I want is to clear just that one.

That will reset the whole lot. Sorry I misread your post, I thought that's what you wanted to do.

I don't have a 5D, but do have a 6D.

Enter the menu and find the menu for Custom functions.
Then Custom Functions Operations/Other
Then Custom Controls.

Here you should be able to choose your button and assign a function.
