Can anyone tell me if it's possible to undo changes made to an image in Lightroom once he program has been closed?
I know it can be done via the step back before closing but, this option is not possible once it is reopened.
Thanks
Pete

You can step back all the way to the original import - check "history" under the develop tab.

As far as I know you just click on reset, that's one of the beauties of Lightrrom it's a none destructve editing program, the catalogue saves then steps of the changes you wish to make to an image, the changes are only set when an image is exported, think I'm right on this

So if I click on reset, it will reset only the image that is selected, is that right?
I don't want to try it just in case it resets all my images (400+)

I believe so, BUT, make sure you only have the one image selected that you want to reset, better still, play about with an image you don't need, make some obvious adjustments, then try reseting that image :)
If you check where the original image is stored & view it with elements or some other viewer you should see it's not been changed by LR

Reset will only reset the selected image or images, and can be done at any time regardless of how many times LR be open and closed. Also in the develop tab on the left hand panel is the history palette you can go backwards or forwards through the steps here.

Thanks Wayne,
Had a play around with it last night, loaded up some old images to try it with.
Should have done that first really.

Cheers
Pete
