Rescuing ancient digicam pics

My first digicam, 640x480, awful flash, colour was crap but useful for a party. I had an idea to rescue the memories by converting to B&W?

Didn't try to work on any highlights etc., but was amazed how the old memories can be made more acceptable to the eye.

I find as a rule B&W can make the worst of images look just a smidge better Hence why all my self portraits are B&W
