Replacement printer suggestions please.

I really can not nurse my Epson photo 950 any longer...(trust me, I'm a nurse ) I've marked it as a DNR now (do not resusitate).

I rarely want to print larger than A4, but I'm starting to think that if I'm going to shell out more dosh, should I at least consider the possibility of going for something that couild give me A3 occasionally? Any suggestions? It will also be needed for ordinary Word stuff. I'd prefer not to have to sell my body for inks either!!

I have a canon pixma ip5000 not top of the range now...but prints superbly...good enough to sell the prints no problems.

However if you need to have the ocasional A3 get it done by a lab.

The prices of printers go up suddenly hugely from A4 to A3.

Ive got that as my secondary printer. I swear it was a bargain at 150 notes for the output quality. I think its better than my Epson R1800.
