Replacement graphics card

I have Dell Optiplex 745 which is not, according to Dell, compatible with Windows 7 or above. I however installed Win 7 and all works great, nearly. One of the photo editing softwares will not run unless i upgrade the graphic card drivers. I downloaded the latest drivers (2013) but these will not install on Win7, as they were made for older windows. I see now two options:

1) emulate older windows on my win7 and install upgraded drivers, with no guarantee that the photo editing software will be happy with the new drivers, or
2) get a new graphic card compatible with Win7 .

i am leaning towards the option No.2. Could you recommend any budget graphic card that would fit in Dell Optiplex 745? I am hoping to get one on ebay for few quit.

There are a huge variety but possible contenders are AMD HD5450, HD 6570, R5 230; Nvidia GT 610 through GT 640, GT 710, GT 740. This is just a small selection of what's available but they're lower power cards so your PC's power supply won't feel stressed.

Thank you, this is exactly hat I was looking for. I know absolutely nothing about graphic cards and what i needed was a list of options. Thank you
 
The HD5450 is a good cheap card and works well on the dell 745 in windows 7 as well as a hackintosh.
