Just discovered my IS unit in the 100-400 lens needs replacing, although no fault was found it 'might' be the cause of the miscommunication between lens and camera. I'm wondering how likely this is, any one had experience of this? don't really want to fork out nearly £200 for 'might'... [at least thats the estimate from once place in London, are Lehmanns generally cheaper? london pricing in effect etc.]
