My Tamron 28-300 was fixed within the last 3 1/2 months to correct a focus problem (an internal ribbon cable had come away). It cost me £115, was fixed quickly and seemed a good job.
Now I have a new problem, the zoom ring no longer operates the zoom, its like it has become unseated from a screw thread or something.
Now I know this is a different problem than the original, but when they fixed it the first time they will have taken this part of the system apart and put it back together again.
As their repairs are covered by a 6 month warranty does anyone here think I'll be lucky enough to get this job done free?
