I am coming over to the UK for the British Superbikes this weekend and was thinking of renting a lens. I have two choices but cant decide which one to get so any help would be great.
Option 1

The ideal lens would have been the 400mm 2.8 but they are all rented out. So i am torn between the 300mm 2.8 and the 400mm 5.6. My only concern with the 400mm is that 5.6 is going to be fast enough. But i think maybe being that its outdoors i should be ok. With the 300 i am wondering will that be enough to get good shots from behind the barriers as i have never been to Brands Hatch before
