Removing serious flare

I know i shouldn't be shooting directly into the sun blah blah, but i was wandering if it is possible to remove the serious flare over the rocks on this picture using CS5.

Im a bit of an amateur with photoshop so may need a breakdown of instructions. But i can send someone a copy of the RAW if they could help.

burn in will fix the worst of the rocks I think.

Burning does help a fraction but a lot of the colour off the flare is still present
