Removing head shine

Hi,

I took this photo for a mate as a headshot but not happy with the lighting shine on his head.

I'm not very strong with Photoshop but wondered if there was a straightforward method to reduce / remove it

I immediately thought that, but not much help after the fact...

It's not the best way of going about it; but using a simple clone stamp layer set to "darker color" can give very decent results.

But you do have photoshop? Use the BURN tool use Midtones and no more thna 50% .. give it ago
