Remote Shutter Release

Can any one tell me if this is a good remote shutter release,

then from what i hear b+h are your best option and nice to have something you may get a warranty on thats not written in chinese

I prefered the wired intervalometers as remote releases because they add a lot of functionality not built into the camera, but they need the right plug to match your camera. For wireless you can get off-camera flash triggers from Yongnuo that can also be used as remote shutter releases, it makes sense to get something with more than one use.

I won't recommend a specific model, because that would involve playing the guessing what camera he wants it to fit game - which has more wrong answers than right ones!
