Remote flash advise required, (Canon).

I had a Canon Speedlite 430EX 11 as a Christmas gift and want to eventually use it off camera. Rather than use the normal cable and bearing in mind that the 430EX is only a slave and can not be triggered by the built-in flash on my 450D. Would the trigger in the link below be a suitable alternative, or does anyone have a better suggestion?

Would second the vote for Yongnuo. Here's a quick search result (you may find cheaper)

Got some 602's for Xmas. Just been testing them. They are great. No misfires. Just FYI I'm using one with a 430ex and the other 2 with YN-460 mk2's. I also got some cool little softbox diffusers too. I took a test shot with all flashes with different diffusers to compare. Will post if anyone wants to see the difference.
