Hello mates, I tried to search answers in previous discussions and failed to find any.. May be I missed them..

I haven't tried remote camera yet but I have many questions already! I am using Canon 7D for remote camera with 16-35mm

1. Is PW TT5 ok for triggering the remote camera? Or I shall consider another model (new Plus III) or another brand?

2. What is the range for using TT5? Is it enough if I am shooting from the corner! I will trigger it from my main camera 1D mark IV and TT1

3. The event I will be shooting will have many cameras behind goal, what if many photographers are using PW TT5, will this cause conflict or any other problem?

Cheers guys...

It should be absolutely fine.

Several hundred feet, so you shouldn't have any problems from the corner to the goal.

Don't worry about it. If theirs trigger yours then you may get some good frames that you would have missed otherwise.

Tanks mate for the valuable information...

I want to order a cable for the Flex TT5 (for the remote camera).. Is "Pocket Wizard 802-453 CM-N3-ACC" ok for canon 7D? And what's the Pre triggered cable!!

I don't have a 7D so can't tell you that, but look at the socket on the camera and see if it matches up to the plug on the picture of the cable here:

A pre-triggered cable keeps the camera alive but uses the battery up more quickly. Generally with Canons, if a signal comes in from a PW and the camera has dozed off, the signal will wake it again and fire the shutter.
