In the last few Steam Gala threads I've posted in 'Transport', people have commented that they wished that they had known it was on.
So... This weekend is the Mid Hants Railway Spring Gala.
The line is Alton to Alresford in Hampshire.

In addition to the Mid Hant's own roster, 70000 Britannia and 60019 Bittern are visiting. Bittern retired from Main Line running at Christmas and will be staying at the Mid Hants this year before undergoing overhaul. Britannia has been out of action for the past year with wheel / axle issues. The Mid Hants have just finished putting her back together, I believe she will be back on the Mainline later this year.
