Yes
Evening.

I was round my parents house last night dropping my month old son off with them so me and the partner could have a decent nights sleep after going without for 48 hours and I spotted my first serious camera in the spare room, a FujiFilm Finepix S1800 that if memory serves, I brought in 2010, I've been playing with it at home all day today and it's reminded me what got me into photography, not going after the 'money shot' or needing to constantly improve on framing or post processing, just taking photos to record memories.

I've been looking through some of my old photos from it and realised, it's actually a very capable little camera so I plan to take it out with me much more, it's just the right size to fit in a small bag without having to worry about lenses, filters etc...

The amount of money I must have wasted on compacts and then the Fuji bridge camera, I may as well have just brought a basic £300 DSLR!

Anyway, I know I'm rambling and there isn't much of a point to this post so I'll show a couple of pics from it that I quite like.

Atmospheric images Adam, I like them

I like number one , well spotted and executed

Nice to rediscover things huh? Number one is really cool, great shot!

This is a great example of the old adage... 'the best camera is the one you have with you'.
I see great pictures every day, but unlike years ago, I rarely carry my camera.

I think you have the perfect reason to bring your camera out more often, your son Adam.
I suggest making a habit of always having your camera with you to chart his progress/growth, notwithstanding sleep deprivation ;)
