After the ST4 temporary suspension and the sticky above, does this mean that religion, politics and other ramblings no longer allowed in the OOF thread...

I really enjoyed the variety of opinions (less personal attacks) and would hate to see the loss of the ability to discuss current affairs. In fact I was truly impressed by a lot of differing opinion and I have learnt a lot from some of the replies.

Can a mod clarify?
 
I had the impression it was locked because some of the replies got personal.
 
as above. people need to be polite and friendly, some of the replies of late have been very unpleasant, and the tone and mood was spreading through the forums, its not good.

if sensible discussions can be had then i have no objection. We'll be watching though.

Thank you Matt for the clarification....I was always against personal attack of forum users and I hope that none of my replies fell into that category .... I think debate is healthy in any society but like you say no need for personal attack.

Looking forward to are range of new topical affairs.......

Funny enough....yes......was thinking of posting a thread about this......but I have a better thread to post first........it will be up in a moment.....
