Reflector holder

Hi

I have a large 5 in 1 reflector. What sort of stand and attachment do I need please as I don't always have an assistant to hold it?

I have an old tripod but I tend to use that for the flash (cord connected to hot shoe, not remote).

afaik there's no real 'cheap' solution... lencarta and kenro do them at a not unreasonable price ( http://www.lencarta.com/reflectors/ref011-reflector-holder-arm-attachment/index.php ) and you need a tripod with a spigot on the screwthread, or simpler, a £10 lightstand, to put it on. May also need to get a sandbag or similar weight to attach to the bottom of the tripod for stability.

I use cheap Konig light stands (about £11ea) and DIY store spring clamps (about £2). If ANY wind then I weigh the stands down with Argos wrist weights (they work a treat LOL). But if I can get my son to tag along as willing assistant/press-ganged slave, it makes life easier.

I got an Interfit one - looks very similar to the Lencarta and very similar price. Konig stand, sorted

been looking for something to hold my 2 homemade diffusers (made from 2 sides of a knackered light tent)..the mic stand/mic clamp solution is ideal!
