I am still undecided as to whether to go CIS or refill PGI-9 carts. (I don't really want a discussion on that at the mo, as the reason I want to go CIS is so that I don't have to keep swapping carts, I know some think that the systems are prone to leakage).
What I want to know, is if I refill a PGI-9 cartridge, can I put the orange clip back on, leave the cartridge upside down for a month, before I use it.
Say for example I have 3 sets or empty carts, can I refill all at the same time, and then wait until they are needed? What I don't want really is to be part-way through a print and then have to stop and do refils (although the process looks easy enough).
I would be interested in recommendations of suppliers too. I believe precision inks are thought to be good. What about Ultra-Gamaut?
