Refillable cartridges for Canon 9000 Pro mk2

I would really appreciate any advice or comments on the use of refillables :)

I had a set in mine for a long time, the same cityinkexpress ones.

They work perfectly but tend to drip when you refill them so just have some kitchen roll handy.

You can use cityinkexpress inks or Lyson inks. Both seem to be a perfect match for the Canon and having left some of the prints in bright sunlight for a long time they don't bleach like some of the really cheap stuff.

I've got a ciss to fit now but not had chance yet.

Big saver in money

Thanks Chris, that's just what I wanted to hear  I will get those ordered now :).

Be interested to see how you get on with them Mal, compared to the genuine inks...

Can't remember the brand but my experience with a 3rd party (cheapo) cart was not good! Far from saving me money, it cost me - apart from the money wasted on the cheap cart (which got binned after a couple of prints), there was the cost of the paper used for the crappy prints it produced, the other inks used producing those prints and the ink used while flushing the crappy ink through the head.

Hi, JMO here but I tried the refill your own and no matter how careful I was I always ended up with ink on my hands/fingers and on the outside of the carts from overflow I also used the CISS and a lot easier to get on with, the carts sit at the side and never really in the way, now I don't print a lot so use third party carts and find them OK in both Epson & Canon printers.
