Any suggestions for sites in NW Scotland - Lochinver/Ullapool area where I might see some Red Squirrels>

Sorry I cannot help you there. With the increase in Pine Marten in Scotland & the west in particular I reckon you will have more chance of seeing a Pine Marten than a Red Squirrel. I did hear a story that the Pine Marten are now feeding on Grey squirrels now though. The Reds go out to the very ends of branches to escape the heavier Martens. The Greys being heavier cannot do this so get eaten.

Sorry no. I have not been to that area for years. Last time I was there a rather nice young lady told me I was an angel! Her load had slipped I helped her put it back in place.:D
