aparently they're dangerous creatures, the signs up here read "danger red squirrels" or "drive slowly red squirrels" which to me suggests they are dangerous and their driving leaves much to be desired

Well when you see the havoc the cause at the hide then they are dangerous. Thats a very nice shot too.
