Any suggestions as to what DVD recorder i can do this with please?

I need to record from an analogue source. So Scart or RGB would be ideal - Possibly S-Video, but not sure. (I am using a Casablanca Avio to edit with, so I don't need any editing capabilities.)

I've transferred footage onto the computer via a video capture device by Ion, and that is fine for putting video onto Youtube etc, but I feel a bit let down with the quality when I burn that to DVD, image also seems a bit jerky in places too!

I'm a bit stuck.

Burning to DVD-R? That's the most compatable format, though if it's an older player these sometimes read slower too, causing the jerkiness.
The most regular 'jerky' cause though is the mpeg2 conversion which can be set too high. 6bps should be an optimum best. :)
