Hi
I want to burn my photos to a DVD that I can watch on a television, but also be able to label the photos. Does anyone know a good programme that allows me to do that?

What OS are you using? On OSX you can use iMovie, if you are on Windows you can use MovieMaker.

This afternoon we created a slideshow for a wedding customer on Pro Show Producer.

In total 220 files plus 8 mp3 music tracks (first dance music etc) total running time 38 minutes all sychronised automatically.

Rendered and burnt to disc in about 25 minutes, can't fault the programme.

thanks. i am in the process of downloading PSP. Cant believe its free!!! double bonus. I'll let you know what I (a computer dinosaur) think !

Photostage Slide Produced
Pictures to exe
Windows movie maker
Will all produce AV's the format changes I think Pictures to exe is about the best now but free trial version prints trial version on the movie made.
Much also depends on the DVD, CD, Bluray player. I have three connected to main TV and every one is different. The Bluray will not play CD's, one will do MP4 another one will not and with one I can just use jpeg files and it will play them without converting into a movie format. Clearly no music.

To produce a good AV it will take about an hour per minuets playing with setting fade in and positioning so skylines match etc. With pictures to exe you can even include movie with the stills and version 7.5 I think will allow you to set the music to fade in and out without using Audicy first.

The local camera club seems to be split 50/50 between Pro Show Producer and Pictures to exe.

Proshow Produce isn't free!

I use the Photodex web based version of Proshow and it's great on any platform. Can download shows right up to Blu-ray
