Recording actions in CS4

I seem to be repeating certain actions with the same amounts in CS4.

Saturation, vibrance then contrast and unsharp mask etc etc.

How could I speed it up to make it a two click job?

I have searched but as i'm useless I couldn't see anything obvious...:bonk:
 
with an image open, On the actions palate click new action name it, then click record do what you want ie levels, curves,
Saturation, vibrance then contrast and unsharp mask, what ever then click stop recording then save you your action
 
Open the actions palate (it comes up on the right) along the bottom are a series of little icons. I think it's the second in from the right that is "record new action" name it and tell it where you want to save it.

Then click on the little icon for "Start recording" ? third one in from the left. Go through your routine on an open image and then click "Stop recording" ? 2nd icon from the left. and then you should be able to play them quite easily.

A good way to batch process if you use Bridge is the image processor. You can select hundreds of images to process save them as JPEG's and run the same action on the whole lot while you mow the lawn :)
 
Thanks for your help guys its worked a treat....might just go grab adobe light room...caugh caugh!
