recommendations for locations near merthyr tydfill

hi, off to south wales at the end of oct to do some mountain biking at bike park wales...obviously gona be taking some shots while im there but wondered if anybody had any recommendations for a locations nearby..anythin watery/waterfalls or anywhere to get some good landscape practice

waterfall country is just down the road at Pontneddfechan. Well worth a visit

Pen y fan is not to far away either. There are also a number of reservoirs in the area.

The Angel Inn is a good spot to get some refreshments and it is just at the bottom of the valley where Sgwd Gladys (Ladt Falls) is = handy

I went last year and if things work out I will return this year. There are a couple of major waterfalls missing from my thread below but it covers most of them;

There are loads of other great landscape locations in the Brecon Beacons but the waterfalls could keep you busy for a couple of days and they are not really light dependent, in fact overcast diffused light can make exposure easier.

I don't know any in particular, but I drove through there yesterday and, as everyone else says, there are lots of sign posts for waterfalls.
