as above folks looking for recommendations for a reputable insurer for my camera, lens and flash whilst i am abroad on holiday. first time taking dslr on holiday.

First call is to your home contents insurer. Most will offer an extension to the policy if not already included, and is always cheaper than stand-alone insurance.

This is what I've done, cost an extra £20.00 for £5,000.00 single item one year world wide coverage. That's added to our Nationwide house contents insurance.
