Recommendation for Rechargeable Batteries(AA) and Charger for Flash??

Hi, Any recommendation for the best rechargeable batts and charger mainly for the AA for Flash use??

I use eneloop or the 7dayshop good to go ones.
 
Eneloop were the first low discharge batteries, and I can't think of anything better. I just use an ordinary charger, but there might be merit in using an intelligent one. They're too expensive for me, but I'll leave it to others with more knowledge to advise if it's worth it.
 
I'd also recommend Eneloops - bear in mind that Eneloops are just the Sanyo brand name for low self-discharge NiMH batteries, which are now made by a whole variety of different manufacturers. For instance, the Duracell ones are called "Rechargeable StayCharged" etc.

Of course, they vary, and the Sanyo manufactured Eneloops are still rated very highly by reviewers, but there is a big market in rechargeable AAs so shop around.
 
+1 Eneloop (get the 2450 or 2550mAh ones - they're black and purple).

I use a Technoline charger which cost about £45 (it's about £35 now I think) that charges each battery individually to keep them in good condition and prevent overcharging.
 
Agree with others that enloops are great but I tried some Amazon basic low dis charge batteiries and have been impressed so far.

I'm going to go with something different and suggest Eneloop Pro, they are better suited to a flash that has a high output. Look for Panasonic branded batteries rather than Sanyo that will ensure you get the latest ones.

I use ENERGIZER PRECISION (2400mah).
Not as powerful as the other that have been recommended but £5 for 4 AAs from the high street is a good price and limited risk of dodgy clones from ebay.
Choosing a charger is probably a harder choice
 
So where is the best place to buy from as I understand there are a lot of fake ones around and how much should I be paying for 4 genuine ones?
