DK capture in an industrial estate in Poole is fairly good, several different shooting areas and reasonably well equipped.
I have heard good reports about Studio 11 which is in central Poole though not shot there myself
Neither of these two have a private shooting areas which for family portraits and baby shoots isn't to much of a problem, but be warned if you use DK the owner does promote his own portrait business to the clients ;-).
The one I would have recommended has just moved from Poole to Holton Heath - Unit 4, owned and run by Carl Wilson, I haven't seen Carl's new studio but would suggest contacting him about studio hire. www.carlwilson.com
There is one more I know of, again not used it but its called sps studio hire from the photos it looks fairly basic but could work for you depending on what your trying to achieve.
