Ok.. to break away from my other thread to widen the audience...

What monitor would you recommend for between £100 and £140 pref 19" (larger prob not poss in budget) Flat Screen?

Simple as that.

(ps i have crt for this pc, the tft is for the new pc on the way)

I'm yet to find a LCD screen that gives accurate, faithful colour and good contrast at the budget end of the market.

I'd seriously recommend auditioning some at PC World or the like (and then buying online), as they vary a LOT in the image quality.

Cheers,
James

As a quick measure I would say go for someone like Viewsonic or Dell if you can't actually view any of the monitors. :)

Edit: Having said that they are unlikely to be in your price range. :(

I would suggest saving and getting hold of a Dell 2405 (Maybe even second hand). Ive just looked on ebay now, and a 2407 can be had for £375.00 new. Ive got a 2405 and its the best think ive ever bought for my pc. The exta space is so usefull, especially when image editing, and it is pretty damn impressive for colour accuracy as well.:)
