With the arrival of a new "pre owned" dog can anyone please recommend any rear seat cover for my 2013 BMW 520D at reasonable cost. It will also need to give access to the seat belt so we can clip the harness to it

Currently using furniture blanket but not the best solution as it moves around

I did come across this which looks OK but always better to go with personal reviews https://www.titancovers.co.uk/...rHwnpHaaMJwLNOctQaAkLzEALw_wcB

Your link just goes to a “product not found “ page. :(

We had an Outward Hound cover from Amazon when we had our Labrador (who sadly died a couple of years ago ). Cost about £30 I think. It worked ok, but our car had leather seats and the cover, and dog, was forever sliding around, maybe it would work better on fabric seats. It worked like a hammock that slung between the front and rear headrests.

Started with a RAC Dog cover. When the zip broke we replaced it with a Just Pet Zone Waterproof Dog Car Seat Cover, both good.

Saloon or touring? Personally, I'd have a cage in the boot of an estate rather than a harness in the back seat of a saloon.

Saloon - agree an estate with cage would be the better solution but I'm not intending to trade the car just yet!

Maybe a cage clipped into the child seat fixing points?
