I brought my daughter a Nikon D50 as her first DSLR and it got put in a bag with some damp clothes on holiday. Subsequently the condensation in the bag got to it and the LCD screen no longer works, along with a couple of other niggles.
I searched for a local repairer but Google just throws up firms all over the country asking to be sent the camera.
Naturally I am a little dubious as anyone can make an impressive website these days.
Can someone please point me to a reputable repairer who they have dealt with in the past. I am based in Essex, but don't mind posting the unit so long as I can be confident that the repairer is reliable (and reasonably priced).
