I've perfected my HDR technique now i'm on the lookout for something new. something cool, something "down with the kids".

I quite like the following (found on flickr) but have no idea what they are.

(note the last two links are both from the same person; irenaS, who has a very specific processing tecnique which i would love to know about)

Any suggestions?

Ask the person on Flickr? Develop your own style?

Or for a serious suggestion, get really ace at B&W, unless you are already?

I may be wrong, but the last two look to me like they are using a cross processing technique with heavy de-saturation and a touch of light vingetting to draw the eye, almost like lomography but without the heavy dark tones... not that difficult in PS to be honest.
