Do I need to wait for a 60D? I dont think so now.
I have just recently purchased the Rebel T2i (550D) for my wife, this will be her third Rebel and never a problem.
Her new T2i has amazing IQ, and as sharp as a tack, (blows away my 30D) and its on par with our sons 50D, and no micro adjustment to worry about. She has one Canon lens and two Sigmas, lenses, no problems with any of them.
My concern was always a smaller body with the Rebel, but the T2i although being small, somehow feels better than previous models.
Ive never been very keen on having to do micro adjustments, and the Rebel appears to work just great without that feature.
I know many of you are going say Its still an amateur, or entry level camera but the fact is, it still has great IQ and is that not what we want.
Do I need 6fps? Not really. Do I want to do micro adjustment? No. Do I need a metal body? It would be nice, but I can live without it.
