really small tadpoles

in our garden is a pottery dish for birds to drink from
i noticed that as i touched the dish quite a lot of little creatures bustled around under the water on the bottom...about 30 cm deep
i thought they were ants...that kind of size...but they look like tiny tadpoles

anyone can identify them please...and what do they grow into...if they do

With a name like Mr toad, I'd like to think you'd be able to identify tadpoles when you see them...

Same in our back garden, they're in every pool of water.

Probably some sort of Fly larvae.

I'd go for fly larvae too and agree with John, probably mosquito. Almost any water no matter how small that exists for a few days will have some.

we toads at toad hall only eat beef and cabbage...yah boo sucks
