i post this because dispite my attempts to incorporate some reading material into the library in my girlfriends flat she removes it and puts it in living room again, aparently its not right, but we've always had reading material in there in my parents house, what else are you going to do to pass the time? read the labels on the back of the toothpaste or toilet paper packet or just twiddle my thumbs?

Not a thing in our house. We have a bookshelf in the living room and the bedroom, but non in the 'library' (Took me a while to work out what you meant there )

Never have...We're not the sort of people to sit down and read in that situation

Hmm a few Mac magazines, Digital Users Magazine, list of houses coming up for auction, and the Argos Catalog... I actually have a nice wood bastket that they all go in so it looks neat.

chuckles must be starting to build up a fair collection of books in his toilet to keep him busy with the after his new acquisition!

Ewww Nothing like that in the bathroom - but a very well stocked bookshelf in the study Don't spend enough time in the bathroom to be reading, unless I'm in the shower - then it would be difficult to read

Lots of camera books(i won some in a competition, have i mentioned that i won before?)
lots of camera mags
lots of F1 mags/books
Lots of catalogues(argos etc)
millions of kids books
Loads of wife related reading fodder
books for the kids...
