Re-write rate, XD picture cards.

I can't find any info on how many times you can re-write an XD picture card. Does anyone know this? I'm looking to get a new 1gb card but, want to know how long my 256mb Type M will last.

I've never heard of a limit to the number of times you can reuse a memory card of any type. Any card *can* go wrong but I doubt there are any average figures as to when as there is nothing to wear out (as in a rechargeable battery for example).

CF will take about a million erase-writes, I should imagine XD is similar.
