Yes
I will start off by saying I have two hours sleep, and just before I started setting up the paper roll stuff I slipped and fell straight onto the marble floor in the room(dont my elbow, wrist and knee know it!!) (it has a slippery spot you can't walk on in socks, I forgot about ended up falling)

So, I attempted a couple of pictures and thought, ugh, can't be doing with this small space (turn out my house is too small to even accomodate a studio set temp). So theres me, carefully and slowly re-rolling the paper. About to go get something to 'stick' it back so it holds tight and doesn't unroll once off the stand. And notice that I have rolled it too loosely - unroll is slightly. Anyway - long and short of it is, after wrestling the paper, the roll and everything else for 30mins. It seems pretty much ALL the paper has unrolled itself from the roll, I have it rolled on again - but extremely loosley, i.e the paper is gonna unroll and slide off very soon.

How do I get it all rolled back on again tightly?

have you tried holding the inner core and tightening? id do that while its on its support. other than that maybe unroll it and use some cello-tape to hold it to the inner core then roll again..

I tried holding and it didnt work, its now not even on the roll, its so loosley done. I don't have anywhere big enough to unroll all 11metres of the roll to do it again :-/

If you can rest it on the flor and pull the core out, then start rolling it from the outside in, you dont have to un-roll it all, just roll onto the core.. in effect you'd have two rolls while its going on.. do you know what i mean??

BTW your pet portraits are FAB!!!

I kinda do, and kinda don't, does it matter that its rolled the wrong wsy? Cos that doubke layer of paper(with that stuff what tears...technical term) is there, is that ok if it isn't on the end of the roll anymore?

And thank you! :-D very kind of you!

well, you could roll it off then back on the correct way? if that makes sense..

I walk my dog in Highgate woods.. you could make a killing up there with all the doggy people!!

It does, ish, yeah. LOL, Thank you. I will get somethign done before the enxt time I need to use it!

Feel free to let the people know about me ;) I'm working on my marketing properly this year - and am in St Albans soon looking after some dogs. Might just take a walk up there (I already have contacts with Hampstead Heath - to no avail :( )
