Hi all, I have a dilemma. I currently have a Tamron 18-200, and a Hoya +4 filter. I've recently had a couple of posts in the macro section, and the flaws of the filter have been pointed out.
So I'm going to buy a Raynox, but I'm not sure which one. My first thought was the 250, more magnification! Great, but less DOF. A 150 would give me the same magnification as my +4 filter, which I find difficult enough as it is.
I assume the Raynox 150 will give sharper images, which is what we are all after. But if I get the 150, will I think in a month's time that I should have got the 250.
Photography is only a spare time hobby, so I only really want to buy one.
Any guidance will be very appreciated.
