i have been messing about with this piece of software but cannot find how to save a file once i have finished, any help?. thanks.

As far as I can remember, once you've altered any images the changes (and changed files) are automatically stored (saved) in a subfolder of the original image folder which Rawshooter names 'converted'

What Rick said. You can actually specify any other place as the default Save folder too.

If you click on the 'Batch Convert' tab at top right you'll see a tab for naming and output location.
