RAW to JPEG

Sorry I don't knwo if this is in the right section, but I was wondering how you convert pictures from RAW to JPEG once they're on ym compter. Also does anyone know how I can view them in RAW on my computer? I have windows live picture viewer thing and it doesn't recognise them! Thanks

The software that came with your 450D will let you both view and convert them.

Alternatively you could check the sticky at the top of the forum.

You could use some software like Irafnview to view them before converting. Otherwise use the Canon software (DPP) or Photoshop.

Or if you just want to do quick and easy edits, and view images, then take a look at Picasa.

Apart from the windows live gallery viewer you need the appropriate raw codec for you op sys.
